California condors, being social animals, are quite playful. Typically around water holes, especially immature birds will engage in games of Tug-of-War, and toss, chase, and retrieve objects such as feathers, sticks, and blades of grass.
Since they have very few natural enemies, condors are incredibly curious, and will circle low over people to take a look at them.
